We’re pleased to announce another exclusive product launch in the Kensington Garden Furniture range – the Kensington deluxe cantilever umbrella with built in solar powered lights. The unique innovative design affords you the luxury of removing the need for a central pole or a hole in the centre of the table. Regular umbrellas will only keep you in shade when the sun is directly overhead, a cantilevered umbrella can be positioned effortlessly in sync with the movement of the sun.
The frame and base is constructed of bronze steel and has a rust inhibiting powder coat finish. As an added bonus, the base can be filled with water or sand to provide maximum stability rather thank expensive slabs. The vented canopy is constructed from a weather resistant polyester fabric and has fully adjustable tilt capabilities. The parasol can be rotated left of right via an easy open manual crank located on the main frame. The canopy is rectangular and measures over four metres diagonally corner to corner when fully deployed. It also comes with a showerproof weather cover when not in use.
The single solar panel is located centrally on top of the canopy, is unobtrusive and supplies up to eight hours use on one full re-charge. The lights are fitted in to the ribs of the canopy giving a sleek and contemporary look. Unlike solar powered light kits, there’s no bulky and unsightly lights protruding from the the canopy’s structure. There’s no batteries or extension lead required everything you need is self contained within the unit itself. All you need is a sunny day to recharge the solar battery.
